Nautical Leaders 4.0

Promoted by Sines Tecnopolo, the "Nautical Leaders 4.0" program is an initiative that aims to boost the growth and development of companies that are part of the Nautical Stations. We focus on strengthening the skills of leaders and technicians through a variety of activities, including bootcamps, coaching sessions, online training in emerging technologies, and thematic sessions with management and leadership experts.

Focused on Blue Growth

"Nautical Leaders 4.0" is aimed at nautical companies that operate in the context of blue growth, a concept that emphasizes the sustainable promotion of maritime industries. The main objective is to increase the competitiveness of these companies by developing management and business skills through on-the-job training.

Enabling Companies and Professionals

Through the implementation of this program, we aim to empower companies and professionals. The objective is to achieve a high participation rate among employees of nautical companies, which in turn will lead to significant improvements in their professional skills and competences.

Strengthening Cooperation in Nautical Stations

Nautical Stations are a network of quality nautical tourism services that encourage cooperation between municipalities, nautical service companies and tourism companies, in the public and private sectors. With "Nautical Leaders 4.0", we seek to strengthen the relationship between the various stakeholders in the nautical community in the region, promoting competitiveness, collaboration and innovation in the Alentejo Coast.

Our Objectives

We hope that the program will result in an increase in the competitiveness of Portuguese companies focused on blue growth, an improvement in the capacity of companies to develop business, and an increase in the number of SMEs with improved business and management skills through training, coaching and mentoring.

A different program

We present a unique and intensive training program, consisting of Bootcamps, training in new technologies and a series of conferences dedicated to business and management skills. Each activity in this project was designed to address the challenges of the current business landscape and equip professionals with the skills needed for lasting success.

Bootcamps - Intensive Training in Leadership and Management

The basis of this activity is to train results-oriented leaders who value teamwork and adopt a sustainable vision of business management. The aim is to provide SMEs with professionals equipped with the essential soft skills to achieve success at work, contributing to the development and strengthening of transversal leadership skills. This intensive two-day activity of approximately 20 hours also aims to improve personal and professional communication skills, use coaching to encourage teams and enhance the growth of organizational talent. In addition to promoting the sharing of knowledge, good management practices and the creation of contact networks.

Training in New Technologies

With the aim of providing trainees with knowledge on how to use new technologies, the training is divided into 4 modules, totaling 48 hours of learning. The purpose of this course is to deepen knowledge on the use of new technologies and recognize their importance as an innovative and sustainable factor for business. Trainees will acquire a broader vision of new trends in the economy and society: civilizational environment, competitive globalization and new technologies.

Conference Series - Business and Management Skills

This series of three conferences will aim to transmit knowledge and different perspectives on business and management skills. The specific goals are to improve business and management skills in the sector, recognize the importance of sharing innovative management methods for success, enrich the vision on the context, mission and future of the organization and debate ideas and values in an environment of high professional qualification.
