Project Description
The DIBEST project is a collaboration that helps small businesses in the Blue Economy (such as fishing or activities related to the marine ecosystem) and Social Tourism in four countries. They do this by bringing together different types of partners: companies, schools and tourist organizations.
This project aims to give these small businesses the tools they need to use digital technology and make tourism more sustainable and environmentally friendly. They choose certain companies to be part of the project and then provide them with training and knowledge based on what each company needs. This includes things like workshops, coaching, community events, and travel to help them familiarize themselves with the ideas.
The project also creates a knowledge pool that will be shared across different platforms. This way, not only the project companies involved in the project can enjoy, but also all tourist companies in Europe, and even schools, can benefit from it. The goal is to ensure that everyone has access to information that can help them to do better in the Blue Economy and Social Tourism.
