The Blue Business Academy is an innovative project whose main objective is to strengthen relations between entities in the Port Community. Our mission is to empower top leaders and senior technicians through a variety of initiatives, including bootcamps, coaching sessions, online training in emerging technologies, and thematic sessions led by management and leadership experts.
Focused on Blue Growth
Aimed at port companies operating in the context of blue growth, the Blue Business Academy project seeks to increase the competitiveness of the blue economy. To this end, we are committed to developing business and management skills through on-the-job training. Our main objective is to empower companies and professionals, with the expectation that 90% of employees will be able to report significant improvements in their professional skills.
Port of Sines: Innovation and Evolution
In Portugal, the Port of Sines has been synonymous with innovation, adopting new technologies to ensure the rapid and safe movement of goods. This has created an environment conducive to the continued growth of the sector. However, we recognize that ongoing training is essential to keep up with the pace of development and demand in port areas.
Collaboration and Competitiveness in the Alentejo Coastal Region
In addition, the Blue Business Academy aims to strengthen collaboration between the various stakeholders in the nautical community in the Alentejo Coastal region. With this project, we aim to increase the competitiveness of companies, improve business development capacity, and encourage the development of business and management skills in SMEs.
A different program
We present a unique and intensive training program, consisting of Bootcamps, training in new technologies and a series of conferences dedicated to business and management skills. Each activity in this project is designed to address the challenges of the current business landscape and equip your professionals with the skills necessary for lasting success.
Bootcamps - Intensive Training in Leadership and Management
The basis of this activity is focused on training results-oriented leaders who value teamwork and adopt a sustainable vision of business management. The aim is to provide SMEs with professionals equipped with the essential soft skills to achieve success at work, contributing to the development and strengthening of transversal leadership skills. This intensive two-day activity lasting approximately 20 hours also aims to improve personal and professional communication skills, use coaching to encourage teams and enhance the growth of organizational talent. In addition to promoting the sharing of knowledge, good management practices and the creation of contact networks.
Training in New Technologies
With the aim of providing trainees with knowledge on the use of new technologies, the training is divided into 4 modules, totaling 48 hours of learning. This course aims to deepen knowledge on the use of new technologies and recognize their importance as an innovative and sustainable factor for business. Trainees will acquire a broader vision of new trends in the economy and society: civilizational environment, competitive globalization and new technologies.
Conference Series - Business and Management Skills
This series of three conferences will aim to convey knowledge and different perspectives on business and management skills. The specific goals are to improve business and management skills in the sector, recognize the importance of sharing innovative management methods for success, enrich the vision of the context, mission and future of the organization and discuss ideas and values in an environment of high professional qualification.
